Am running 9.3.2 but read up loads but always said not for that version so I didn't want to download load something unknown to be safe

Well, do a jailbreak and you will be able to use the most of cheats from Cydia Substrate Section, just follow the instruction. Now you can use cheats only from Non-jailbroken section.
