Help/Support Deb files are opening in text

Hello guys, recently i have been having a problem trying to install debs, because when i download them they open like text, instantly, no chance to install them, i'll show you pictures

 

 

it happens me with every deb i try to download

make sure you have ifile of Filza installed from cydia

after that click the arrow in the top right > click Direct Download, after that click on the deb and then click on installer .

i have installed ifile, from cydia

the only way i can have these debs is to download from pc, send the deb file to myself through e-mail, and then open it in the email, wich is really annoying

did you click on the arrow in the top right > then direct download ?

because that's how you suppose to do it if you are downloading it from DropBox.

ok when you clicked on the deb did it give you options ?

That's because dropbox can't run .deb files so it changes the format to .txt.

 

You wither click on direct download and redirect the .deb to iFile

 

Or

 

Download Filza and make the .deb run on it. It's better since you can respring directly from it when you install the .deb
