Kelly you should upgrade first normally with resources. Then press instant finish with crowns from within the page.

 

If you try to straight away upgrade with crowns it will get you out of the game.

Does it still work? because i cant speed up any buildings. is there any other way around it?

If you read through the replies, the advice was to not max out any upgrades in your university. The trick is to only upgrade them till level 5 (or the level to unlock the upgrades you want) and upgrade the certain upgrades you want e.g garrison damage to a maximum of level 7-8. 1-10 is too obvious as the amount of resources needed and the time taken is too great.

So I should wait for the buildings upgrades? If not then how can I speed it up. Because I've tried almost everything to instantly upgrade it I always get kicked out
