he didnt release it due to the new security check they added into the game. i think he is doing some tests or something before releasing it for the jailbroken devices but i know, the waiting kills me too, haha. have all buildings at upgrading right now and dont want to cancel them but hey, no stress - they wont let us down.

The alternate way I use is:

 

I just click the send button from the expeditions screen and then click on finish. There is no need to close the screen just wait for the message to be displayed that the expedition has been sent / started and click the finish button. The game will reload once you click finish. Just click on the expeditions again and collect your reward.

 

This can even be used if you have all your workers engaged in construction activity. You just have to be quick to click the necessary buttons in succession.

The reason is that someone used the non-jailbreak version of the crack on a jailbroken device.

You weren't supposed to install this. This is the reason why the Jailbreak version is being delayed. They added security checks and apparently they either detected the Jailbreak or they detected previously uninstalled hack.
