Delete the game and re-download it, it'll then let you activate the hacks before the game's loaded and the hacks will work.

The hacks will only work the first time playing after re-downloading as that's the only time you'll be able to activate them in time.

If you close the game or it crashes from talking to someone or something, you'll need to delete and re-download the game again for the hacks to work.

Easier way of doing it is enter airplane mode and wait for game to pop up with the error screen exit airplane mode then click the log in icon and the thanks on the hack and after that press reload and the game will start up
