Help/Support Installing IPA Files from iTunes/iFunbox fails on iDevice

Hello Everyone,

 

I have a question about the failure of being able to install cracked IPA files onto my iPhone 5S (Jailbroken 9.3.3).

 

Please direct me to any threads where this has already been explained if possible. I have searched and read a bunch and I've kind of have a better grip on my question from reading but no direct answer.

 

It seems I can install older IPA files (iOS 3.X) no problem to my device, but some for whatever reason just wont install with all kinds of different errors. Sometimes iTunes tells me it can't install them, or the sync goes through fine but the app is greyed out (dark) with the word 'Waiting' under it. Or the sync goes through and no message is received but the app never appears on my device. I have also tried installing them via iFunbox and I get error e8008001.

 

AppSync Unified is installed. Everything seems legit. Just some apps do install and some don't.

 

Does this have something to do with the way the apps were cracked? From my reading I see that some have been cracked via something called Clutch, and then a more updated version called Clutch V2.

 

Am I missing some tweak from Cydia (like AppSync) that will allow these IPA files to be installed based on the way they were cracked? Is there anything I can do to either the phone or the IPA file to get them installed?
