There is a news post in the game that they are cracking down and banning hackers. If we get a hack, use it wisely and carefully.

That means that there is a way to hack the game. From what I heard its an android hack, maybe a dev could look at that and recreate it on iOS?

no link but the game patch notes has a message from the devs saying that they are looking into any hacking. They said they are goung through individual accounts to see if there is anything suspicious. And from what I googled the only hack I could see are android ones.
