    When I open up Cydia it shows: "the method driver /usr/lib/apt/methods/http could not be found." And it shows I have no installed tweaks and no tweaks are showing in the changes tab. I remember deleting the http file. My iPhone iOS 9.0.2 would freeze and respring everytime an ad(???) would play in the audio. I couldn't find what's causing the ad to play in the system. I had to disable ALL means of networking so that the ad wouldn't play and freeze my phone. So I tried to delete Cydia substrate so I could delete the faulty tweak that I couldn't find that's playing that annoying ad, but a similar error showed up, but this time it said: "/usr/lib/apt/methods/http has unexpectedly closed!" I was prompted to respring but I didn't because I thought it would harm my device more. So I went to iFile and deleted the http and https file in the said directory. I rebooted the device and I found all my Cydia apps and tweaks were deleted, as well as that annoying ad that keeps freezing my phone. But now I couldn't install a single tweak nor app from Cydia because of the missing http file.

     

    Is there any way to fix this current problem. Was there an alternative solution in removing the annoying ad that would freeze your iPhone?

     

    Update#1: I have a Jailbroken iPhone running iOS 9.0.2. I tried recreating the http file in the same directory. I tried to refresh the changes tab. Now the error log is

    Update#2: Not all of my Cydia apps were deleted. Stock apps are still functioning. iFile and GBA4iOS from Cydia is still ok. I was thinking, can anyone send me their http file from /usr/lib/apt/methods/http? I think that would help.

     

    Update#3: I can't download any .deb file through Cydia nor iFile.

     

    Update#4: Looks I have no choice but to restore in order to get Cydia functioning again. But it's still ok. At least I have iFile and gba4ios

    have you tried to use Cydia Eraser then re-jailbreak your phone? For the ads, try installing AdBlock

    No I didn't. I can't download it now though. I couldn't SEE the ad, but I HEARD it. I tried installing AdBlock but it's causing my iPhone to go to a boot loop. But that was before the system ad existed in my phone

    Just restore your phone before you jailbroke pangu always warned to make a backup then restore if it fails so use the backup then rejailbreak

    I had to delete my backup, because my mom said it took too much storage... Smh. I still don't have a PC.

        PC Installation Instructions:
        STEP 1: If necessary, uninstall the app if you have it installed on your iDevice. Some hacked IPAs will install as a duplicate app. Make sure to back it up so you don't lose your progress.
        STEP 2: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see this tutorial topic.
        STEP 3: Download Sideloadly and install it on your PC.
        STEP 4: Open/Run Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS Device, and wait until your device name shows up.
        STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 6: You will now have to enter your iTunes/Apple ID email login, press "Start" & then you will be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and enter the required information.
        STEP 7: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 8: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles/VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 9: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days. Jailbroken iDevices can also use Sideloadly/Filza/IPA Installer to normally install the IPA with AppSync.         📖 Android Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the modded APK file from the link above using your preferred Android browser or download manager.
        STEP 2: Once the download is complete, open your file manager and locate the downloaded .apk file (usually in the Downloads folder).
        STEP 3: Tap the APK file, then select Install. If prompted, enable Install from Unknown Sources in your device settings.
        STEP 3A: If the mod includes an OBB file, extract it if it’s inside an archive. Then move the folder to: /Android/obb/
        STEP 3B: If the mod includes a DATA file, extract it if it’s archived. Then move the folder to: /Android/data/
