the actual answer to this was a difficult decision in fairness.

VIP members donate, so what extra features can we offer them to make the donation worthwhile,

while at the same time, not totally screwing the free users?

 

the answer i came up with, that admin agreed to, was making sure that free

users had access to features that could help overcome natural obstacles of normal gameplay-

i.e. running out of zel or karma for evolutions, god mode and OHKO for early difficult dungeons,

and inventory expansion for items.

these were the features that could help bypass hours of pointless and tedious grinding

just to make a little headway in the normal course of the game, especially early on for newer players.

 

whereas features like 0 energy, auto-win, item injection etc., are fun, but they are "bonus" features-

playing without these features does not affect or inhibit standard gameplay,

playing with them adds a little extra value to the mod, and therefore justifies the donation that VIP members make.

 

i hope this helps a little.

i know that when you don't have the cash or access to IAP, it's easy to feel a little left out,

but the entire process of the free/VIP feature decision was designed to make sure as few people

felt neglected as possible
