Make sure you have the game closed and not running in the background.

1: Download and open file with winrar or whatever you have.

2: Connect your ipod/iphone to your comp.

3: Open ifunbox (that is what I use).

4: Go to "managing app data" tab once your device is fully connected

5: Under "all my apps" click the button and click the Hollywood U thumbnail.

6: Open the Documents folder and remove everything there.

7: Select and move all files from the character file you downloaded to the Documents folder.

8: Press the refresh button above the game thumbnail a few times.

When you start the game it will probably ask you to "link" or "start a new game". Choose "link" and then choose "local".

If you choose "start new game", your device will say it will download your save connected to the game center. This will also happen is you choose "link" and then "download".

I hope this helps, I'm not good at explaining.

I do the "Link" and the "Local" option as well. When I do this, I am at Level 1 with a lot of diamonds and cash, but it says that I need to reload it and it takes me to Level 11 with a lot of progress done already. However, I found out that when the reload text appears, I would double click the home button, stop the game from running, and go back to the game using link and local to find the game still running with the quests I'm doing.

Apparently, it says that it needs to reload because it said my game center account changed and needed to reflect on this change.

I did that too but I cant play for more than 30sec without the reload option popping up again. I figured Id just play my game center save instead. Because I dont wanna play from lvl11 and not know the story from where I was to then. Sucks for me.
