Help/Support How to get the correct settings to make an IDA hack

As you can probably tell by the title I am a complete noob at this and I have been trying to follow the tutorial pinned in the tutorial page, however I am stuck on this bit:

 

I have managed to crack an app but how do you get 'the binary into IDA with the proper settings'

So the question is: how do you get 'the binary into IDA with the proper settings'?

Transfer the binary to your PC using WinSCP.

 

Then loading the binary properly:

1) Select the portion(armv7 or arm64) of the binary.

2) Go to Processors

3.) Scroll up for ARM little endian and Click on "Set"

4.) Press ok and that's it.

 

You will have to wait awhile for the binary to load.
