Help/Support IDA To Hex Editor [Confused]

Yello again, and well. I started studying IDA today.

 

But the part that really confuses me is when I need to head over to the hex editor.

 

Am I supposed to extract the bin from IDA to Hex Editor?

 

Or do I use the normal one?

 

And one more thing.

 

When I am done with the hack,

 

which bin do I consider the hacked one? The one from IDA or Hex Editor

[basically relates to my first question]

You drag the binary file to your hex editor and it will automatically save the new binary file on the folder
