Any ios7 user able to grab that crash log? I couldn't find my crash log. If anyone had the files it would help vox solve the issue.

think i'm going to have to remove "iOS 7 support" from the features again X(

technically there is no code in the mod right now that is *not* iOS 7 compatible, but based on user reports,

not only is it crashing, it's crashing before the error report gets generated :'(

 

my next plan is to try to install a VM with an old enough version of mac OSX and Xcode that i can maybe use the iOS 7 simulator for testing,

but letting you all know now, my computer is NOT awesome or super-fast, so i'm never had much luck getting VMs to run properly,

considering how much CPU and RAM OSX and Xcode require

 

Welp. Accidently updated to 1.4.81.

 

Would anyone know if it would still work, or if I would get banned? Or if it's possible to reverse the update.

 

If not, I'm going to have to wait.

if anyone is currently having trouble with the mod crashing or "not working at all"

please check to see if you have updated to the just-released Brave Frontier 1.4.81 update on the App Store.

 

anytime there is an App Store update to the game, it breaks the mod.

the offsets guys have to find new addresses for the mods,

and we have to release an update (which we will do on a brand new forum thread).

 

currently, the BF 1.4.81 update is not what we call a "required" update,

(meaning that gumi locks you out of the game until you update the app).

because users are not forced to update, and the time it takes to find new offsets,

the team has agreed only to update the mod for new app versions when

the app update is "required."

 

if you think this is the reason for your mod failing to work properly,

the best course of action is to:

1. disable automatic app store updates on your device

2. do a google seach for "Brave Frontier 1.4.80.ipa" to find the install file for that version of the app

3. download and install the .ipa file and to downgrade your game.

4. you may need to delete the app's cache files and let the game refresh it's data download.

 

until such time as gumi forces users to update to their latest version,

we will not be releasing a version update to the mod, so please keep this in mind
