Literally went into ifile and removed everything... Also removed all my repos on CYDIA except bigboss also went to etc and there were no "host"

the mods are still not working

Like I went into hierchary or whatever and searched "iOS gods" (so search everything and yeah noting shows up) except the mod I downloaded on this website soo...

You're supposed to have a hosts file in /etc/hosts

 

Even if it's empty.

 

Create the file and add this content inside:

# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
# when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.
127.0.0.1    localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1      localhost 
fe80::1%lo0  localhost

Including the empty newline at the bottom.

It's a file, make sure it has 644 permissions also.
