Help/Support [Question] How to stop a game app from checking the version of game?

I have a question that I'm sure all you hackers know how to do......And I'm hoping you will spend the time in explaining to me how to do it as well as a lot of other gamers who are having the same issues.

I have some game hacks that during the game loading process it will stop and not go any further until I update the game to a newer version.  So I am unable to play the game with the hack if I update it to the newer version.

How do you trick iTunes to think you are playing the current version of a game but really you are playing an older version?

Is there a way to use a plist and change the game version in there?  I've searched for one but I can't find where I would change the version........

That solution would truly help me in playing the older games that I have hacks for.

Have you tried changing the app version inside the info.plist? It's in the games .app folder.

Yes, I tried that but the game still doesn't accept the changed version as the new one.

The games name is The Collectables. The other ones I've also tried is Kritika, the wrath of the Pirate King and The Amazing Spiderman 2.

Ya I have the same question im trying to play marvel contest of champions at an older version because I hav hacks for it and it keeps telling me to update the game and I've tried to change the version with the info thing it doesn't work please help and thanks

Are they all sever sided games ?

Server sided games require you to update because the server needs the new content to run the game.

Those games are server-sided which means you can't trick it thinking you're on a different version. It's a force update, no escape.
