I think GDB is easier than MSHook in my opinion

But I've never done GDB before (my phone is so bad). For GDB, all you have to do is search the value of gold or whatever on iGG or Gameplayer, and use the offset you find on IDA. Then just change the value by finding the Hex Value and changing it on a Hex Application. Something like MOV or NOP or something like that.

Just try finding the offset. Or if you find a suspicious offset on Gameplayer or iGG, set a breakpoint on it in your SSH Terminal. 

 

If you can't GDB or LLDB, you can always use string Really effective.
