Notepad++ its simple to use and it gets the job done.

Notepad++ isn't generally used for coding. If you make mistakes, Notepad won't really tell you. It's great for general editing though! ^_^

Atom is the best:

  • Customizable
  • Themes
  • Packages (Developer's extras)
  • Add Awesome stuff like these compiler and manager
  • Syntax Coloring (new language: new package)
  •

Yeah, it's pretty nice but Atom has the upper hand at the moment for iOS users ^_^

I've been using Notepad ++, but switched to Brackets after finding out about it on Edge Code.

I'm gonna try out Atom pretty soon, because of all of the features.

I checked out Visual Studio, and it's pretty awesome. There are free developer kits and features, plus free private repos and help 24/7 from students, professors and fellow coders!
