🔔 iOSGods App Notifications: Follow Apps & Never Miss an Update!

Hello everyone! 👋

Waiting for an update to one of your favorite apps? The iOSGods App can notify you when an app you follow is updated, so you no longer need to keep checking its page manually!

Simply follow an app from its details page and enable notifications. When an update becomes available, you’ll receive a push notification. Tap it to open the app’s page directly in the iOSGods App.

Notifications can also keep you informed about iOSGods App+ registration updates, signed apps that are ready to install, and other important iOSGods announcements.

IMPORTANT On iPhone and iPad, push notifications only work after the iOSGods App has been added to your Home Screen and opened from there. Notifications cannot be enabled through a regular Safari browser tab.

How to Follow an App

On iPhone or iPad, open the iOSGods App from your Home Screen. On a desktop computer, open it in a supported browser.
Find the game or app you want to follow.
Open its app details page.
Tap the Follow button.
Select Allow if your device or browser asks for permission to send notifications.

That’s it! You’ll now be notified when the followed app receives an update.

Required on iPhone & iPad: Add the iOSGods App to Your Home Screen

To receive push notifications on an iPhone or iPad, you must add the iOSGods App to your Home Screen. Apple does not allow regular Safari browser tabs to receive these web app push notifications.

The Home Screen version also provides a faster, more app-like experience. When you tap an update notification, it will launch the iOSGods App and open the relevant app page directly.

To add the iOSGods App to your Home Screen:

Open https://app.iosgods.com/ in Safari.
Tap the Share button.
Select Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add.
Close Safari and open the iOSGods App from its new Home Screen icon.
Enable notifications when prompted.

REQUIREMENT Home Screen web app push notifications require iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.

Notifications on Android

iOSGods App notifications are also supported on Android devices. You can receive updates for followed Android apps, important announcements and other supported notifications.

To enable notifications on Android:

Open the iOSGods App on your Android device.
Sign in to your iOSGods account.
Go to More → Notification Settings or visit an Android app page.
Enable notifications or tap the notification bell and select Allow if Android or your browser asks for permission.

When you tap an app update notification in your lock screen, the relevant app details page will open directly in the iOSGods App.

INFO The Home Screen requirement mentioned above applies specifically to iPhone and iPad. Android handles notification permissions separately.

Desktop Notifications on Windows, macOS & Linux

iOSGods App notifications are also supported through compatible desktop browsers on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Unlike iPhone and iPad, desktop users do not need to add the iOSGods App to a Home Screen. Notifications can be enabled directly through the browser:

Open https://app.iosgods.com/ in a supported desktop browser.
Sign in to your iOSGods account.
Go to More → Notification Settings.
Enable notifications and select Allow when your browser asks for permission.

When you click an app update notification, the relevant app details page will open directly in your desktop browser.

INFO Notification permission must be granted separately for each browser and computer on which you want to receive alerts.

App Updates on Your Lock Screen

After adding the iOSGods App to your Home Screen and enabling notifications, updates for apps you follow can appear directly on your Lock Screen or in Notification Center.

Tap the notification to launch the Home Screen version of the iOSGods App and open the updated app’s details page. From there, you can review the update and proceed with your preferred download or installation method.

iOSGods App+ Notifications

iOSGods App+ users can also receive useful notifications about their membership, registered devices and signed apps.

Depending on the activity, you may be notified when:

Your App+ device registration or activation status changes.
An app you submitted for signing is ready to install.
An important App+ membership update is available.

These alerts let you know when something is ready without requiring you to leave the iOSGods App open or repeatedly check the App+ status page.

Important iOSGods Announcements

We may also use notifications for important announcements that affect the iOSGods App or App+, such as major feature releases, service updates and other information you should know about.

We aim to keep these notifications useful and relevant.

Manage Your Followed Apps

You can view and manage all the apps you currently follow from one place:

Open the iOSGods App.
Tap More.
Tap Notification Settings.

From there, you can review your followed apps and unfollow any apps you no longer want to receive update notifications for.

You can also return to an individual app’s details page and tap the follow option again to stop following it.

Not Receiving Notifications?

If notifications aren’t appearing:

On iPhone or iPad: Make sure you’re using iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.
On iPhone or iPad: Make sure the iOSGods App has been added to your Home Screen and that you’re opening it from the Home Screen icon, not through Safari.
On Android: Make sure notifications are allowed for the iOSGods App or your browser in Android’s system notification settings.
On Windows, macOS or Linux: Make sure notifications are allowed for app.iosgods.com in your browser’s site settings.
Make sure notifications are allowed for the iOSGods App or your desktop browser in your device’s system notification settings.
Open the iOSGods App and check More → Notification Settings.
Check that the app still appears in your followed apps list.
