How to update IPA without deleting app data (Switching Heroes)

Hi! I apologize if this has already been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find anything on it.

I'm trying to update my game without losing my account (I'm not logged into an account in the game, since it helps with not getting banned). I've Downloaded loads of mods with Android and there I can mostly always, just install the new updated mod on top of the old version, the exact same way I downloaded the original. I've seen mentioned on other sites that this should also be the case with IPAs but I'm having some trouble.

I'm using my old burner iPhone for your great mod for Switching heros (PS could you port it to Android that would be amazing!) - it's an old iPhone 6s, with IOS 15.8.8.

I downloaded the app just fine using Esigner, but then the update came (the 4.7 version) and although it seems to install the app, just doing the same as when I installed the original, it still promts me to install the update in the app, and thus nothing happened, apparently.

I kept the Bundle identifier the exact same as when I first installed it, so I have no clue what the issue is, and would greatly appreciate some guidance, since I'm completely new to modded apps on IOS (it's so much more complicated than on Android haha)

Thanks for reading all this, and for your help! :D

Hello,

In this case it depends on how “esigner” works.

Generally, if an app isn’t refreshing, or updating by replacing then the bundle ID is different and that’s where the signer you’re using may have changed something, or the Apple ID used is different.

You can likely still set the same bundle ID if you find the bundle ID from the already installed app which may help in overwriting.

Thank you for the answer!

I checked the Bundle ID of the version I installed earlier, and its the same, as the one I'm trying to overwrite it with. But I used the app reset and spoof function quite a few times; Does that change the Bundle ID? Or in some way alter the app in a way that complicates updating the app?

Is there a way to check the Bundle ID directly, without just checking the Bundle ID of the IPA I installed originally? Or should that always be the same - like the device reset and spoofing shouldn't change the bundle ID, or anything else that could be relevant? Maybe it changes the apple ID?

Thanks again.

I remember there was an app on PC that lists all your installed app, can’t remember which exactly.

You could also use Sideloadly Syslog feature and open the app, that should show the bundle ID when logging.
