Hey everyone,

I'm having a frustrating issue and could really use your help.

I'm using ArmConverter to download an IPA file, but the downloaded file always seems to be corrupted/incomplete. When the download starts, it shows the file size as ~3.35 GB, but it only downloads about 2.17 GB before finishing. The process doesn't error out, it just stops at that smaller size.

I'm not 100% sure it's corrupted, but I can't install it through Sideloadly – it throws an error during installation.

So far I've tried:

• Creating a decrypted IPA using ipatool

• Tried with Xcode

• Tried with AltStore

• Tried multiple different download methods/approaches

• Obviously tried Sideloadly multiple times

Nothing seems to work. Every method gives me the same result – a file that won't install.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? How did you fix it? Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or what I should try instead?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Which app is this? A size difference is expected, but there may be an underlying issue I can review. Also please send over the Sideloadly logs too.

The app is Dunk City Dynasty. The thing is, if you download a clean decrypted IPA from the armconverter site, that downloaded IPA can't be installed directly via Sideloadly as-is (after dragging the IPA into the IPA icon in Sideloadly, you can't even click the Start button to begin installation — it just stays inactive; I checked with other IPAs downloaded from the armconverter site and they don't have this issue). I should note the following: after I injected a tweak mod menu into the game, the IPA was repackaged (that's probably the more accurate way to put it), and after that, this IPA installed just fine through Sideloadly (but other problems came up, like the game crashing, or the game launching with the injected tweak but showing a pink screen; I came to the conclusion that the pink screen was possibly caused by Frida being embedded in the binary).
