Where do I put the installer before running it?

this worked fine on my ipad and iphone 5, both with ios9.0.2, but when i tried installing on my friend's iphone 5S running 8.4, the setting menu isnt there.  it still says hack message when you first start the game tho.  weird.  tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, but nothing works.  any suggestions?
