Then you're using a router anyway the ipv4 address is different between the iOS and the PC because you have a router this all what I want to know are you have a router or not? So for that I ask you about the gateway and the ipv4.

Now to connect to your iDevice using Putty change the last number and try to connect

Example IP address : 192.168.1.1

Try to make it end with 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 and complete until 255 (i don't think you'll reach )

And about you can connect to the gateway this is because you connect to the router not the iDevice

no i am pretty sure i am using a modem but mabye its a new tech that make modem and router in one lol anyways i tried till 192.168.1.25 they all open up with the green thing on the top left corner adn thats it no words but they dont say connection refused

Idk anyway all what we want to know is the IP address is different

On your Putty see if it say login as:

if it say then type root

then it's should ask you about the password (alpine) try it

Note: be sure to keep you iDevice on because maybe if it go off once it's will not connect or change the address so yeah

doesnt work even with device on and the only one that works and says login as is 192.168.1.1 i type root then it says password i type alpine it says access denied and i didnt change the password from alpine

like what changing the last number on the getway wont work tried to 20 and i am pretty sure there are not many devicees connected to it it works only the last number is 1 but password access denied others just show the green thing and dont say login as and i also cant type anything EDIT: ive looked on other devices connectd one ends with 6 and another ends with 7 and another ends with 8 and there is one left I THINK i didnt check note: theyre all androids i am the only with ios note2: my pc ends with 4 another pc ends with 10 note3:the ones that appear with nothing but black and the green thing after i wait they say refused but when the last number i think is not a number of a device connected it says connection timed out

no need for pictures you know the thing that flashes when your typing on google it indicates that ur typing or soomething its like it but its its one top left corner

maybe its cuz i should change the settings and the configureations on it cuz i just opened it and typed in the ip/getway the port is 22 at ssh and when i installed it but maybe the program just doesnt work at least for me any other programs?
