I cant open my messages i tried in safe mode still doenst work I think its because of the effective power text my friend texted me before this problem happens

use siri to reply to your friend message or reset all settings or update to ios 9

Here a 3 steps that you can try

1. Ask Siri to "read unread messages."
2. Use Siri to reply to the malicious message. After you reply, you'll be able to open Messages again.
3. If the issue continues, tap and hold the malicious message, tap More, and delete the message from the thread.

If your phone is Jailbroken

 

Remove Cydia Substrate

 

Then reinstall your tweaks.. your message app should work after that.

 

I don't know why it does that but I experience it too. I can't open my messages until i Start reinstalling some of my tweaks
