as long as you can get me started with the information I provided then I think I might have the rest. I tried not to edit the binary. I would hate to deal with legal action.

yeah, but do you get what I'm aiming? create it as a normal patcher: I would still need to tell when it needs to turn that code on. So I decided to go farther; say I have 2 offset.

Offset 1 = 0x9aff0b = health

Offset 2 - 0x9aff1b = address that tells me when it's a stage or menu

So if it's menu, Offset 2 = 1 and Offset 1 = random float #. If it's a stage, Offset 2 = 2 and Offset 1 = the value of current health.

So my goal is; how do I write

If Offset 2 = 2 then set Offset 1 = 9999.

----note-----

During menu, if I change offset 1 while it's a random float number; the game freezes.... That means I can't leave the code on forever.

I take it back about MS Hacking on my first post; It should be Code Injection instead.

depends on whether this is a whole function

u can only override function with MSHookFunction (Read the name)

u cant override single instructions

u can however do Code Caving

no use vmread to check
