Thank you for your amazing work on the save file — I’m really enjoying it!

With the new update, “Path of Virtue,” I’ve noticed that playing it actually decreases the number of soul eggs, so I’ve been trying to recover them by prestiging.

However, it seems like soul eggs no longer increase even after a prestige. So the more I play, the more I end up losing them, which is quite frustrating.

I’ve been trying to figure out a workaround, and I attempted to edit the save file’s .dbs file. I tried using SQLite Studio, but it doesn’t seem to read the file properly. I also tried editing it with Notepad, but the text gets corrupted and unreadable.

My questions:

1. How do you edit the save file?

2. If you’re still playing the game, do you plan to release an updated save file for the new version? (The new update is quite challenging, especially with very little guidance available.)

Hello, I am working on a new save file regarding Path of Virtue and seeing what I can break. "Shifting" subtracts a percentage of your soul eggs rather than a fixed amount hence even with a hacked amount of soul eggs the number will decrease. The reason why the count is not increasing after a prestige is that the amount of soul eggs you get from a prestige is negligible compared to the hacked amount. The actual number of soul eggs this save has can't actually be displayed in the "prestige menu" it goes off the screen hence you see no difference in number when you prestige. I created this save file using iGG and simply exported my hacked save file and shared it here. Hope that answers your questions!
