Help/Support Installing Theos on Mac error

[Serachrono 12k]

Hi guys,

 

I tried installing Theos using this tutorial: http://iosgods.com/topic/4537-tutorial-how-to-install-theos-on-a-mac/ 

 

but i got this error:

fatal: could not create leading directories of '/opt/theos': Permission denied

This is what I put:

export THEOS=/opt/theos
git clone git://github.com/rpetrich/theos.git $THEOS

I have command line tools and xcode 7.1

 

so WHAT DO I DO??

The error is telling you that you don't have permissions to create a folder in that area. To fix this, type in terminal:

sudo su

<your password>

And then run the commands again.

hi guys sorry one more thing for that tutorial that i used, it gives me rpetrichs headers to dump it all in but thats not available so is there another website that has those same headers

use search bar and you will see some thread with headers
