Are you guys just installing with sideloadly? I installed with TS and was able to login to Game Center. I would think sideloadly would allow as well since you’re installing with your own Apple ID. Maybe it’s a sideloadly issue if you’re both using it. Curious is all

i’m using sidestore, but i don’t think i’d wanna switch to another side loader because my progress would reset 😭

Yeah I can’t speak on that. I think if you install an app without your Apple ID logging in with Game Center isn’t possible so you may want to try if you need to reinstall another time. 
I also downloaded just now from the iosgods app and it says 2.5.8 but I got 2.6.10
