This game is designed for both single-player and two-player mode. Invite your friend to play with you. See who can create a dominating life pattern!

 

The universe of the Game of Life is a two-dimensional orthogonal grid of square cells, each of which can be live or dead. Every cell interacts with its eight neighbors. At a given time step, the following 4 rules governs each cell's life or death:

 

1. Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by underpopulation.

2. Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.

3. Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.

4. Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell.

 

Our game introduces colors to cells, and adds an extension to rule 4, that is, when a dead cell has three live neighbours, it becomes live in the same colour as the majority of its neighbours. So that you can see how two species can compete with each other!
