Help/Support Decrypted App Store for ViP doesn't Decrypt most ViP versions of an app

We'll use this game for example:
Bike Race: Free Style Games

This game doesn't work at all for any version whatsoever. It only works with the most current version. Every time I try to decrypt a different version it just gives me an error, once I refresh the page it gives me a Red download button that says.
"Decrypt this version! (likely will fail)"
Why does it fail?
I bought ViP specifically to downgrade this app but if I can't, it's okay.

Scottie, it seems we're in the same boat. I posted a topic on this same subject a little over a week before this topic. I got (and get) the same series of errors. Looking at the older versions of various apps, I highly doubt old version downloads ever worked for anyone since I can't find any downloads for any app older than about 1/4 down the slider. Also like you, I bought VIP specifically for this one thing, and one thing only. A bulletin or notification that the function was inoperable at the time would have been nice. I could have then saved my sub for later, since I've got a little over a month in my sub left, I haven't been able to use it yet (I have iOS 9.3.5, so recent downloads are next to useless), and it's starting to look like it might go up in flames before this gets resolved. 😞

There's also been a more recent topic, and while that one mentioned a 500 error which occasionally happens to all downloads (including the most recent ones), it especially calls out downloads of older versions.

Please be patient while we work on resolving this. If you're looking for a specific version and your ViP has expired, I'll personally decrypt it for you so you can easily download it.

The feature has been working. See YouTube for example.

Oh no worries, I've been patient and waiting (just see my topic and when my last response to it was). I've just been waiting around, following the news (including here) to see if there's been any update. I was also mainly replying to let the topic creator know that there are others experiencing this issue, as well, and letting ScottieC111 (and others) know the details of what others are experiencing (and that they're not alone/the only ones).

I was wondering the technical details between the download and the decryption. How does the DAP actually access the older .ipa files? I may have been misinformed but I was under the impression Apple does not store older .ipa's to be able to access or download. I may be wrong, however.

You can also manually perform the process with Charles Proxy. There is a tutorial posted online somewhere.
