Hello! I‘m new here. My goal is to cheat on some games and thus I looked for some tool and the iGG seems to be the solution. As far as I have come, in order to install it on my iPad I need the iOSGods App+ for $25 a year, so the app costs at least $25. Since the games I want to cheat are not listed in any IPA repo or in the app, it seems the only way. Now the problem is: how to get the iGG installed?

On

it says „You can easily install iGameGod via Sideloadly, iOSGods App or iOSGods App+“. Continuing to read reveals that Sideloadly wouldn‘t install the app, instead it injects it into a game. The free iOSGods app doesn‘t list iGG. So no „easy install“.

The next contradiction is that the same web page says the iGG would be completely free. That would be true if you could install it without paying for a subscription, so it‘s not free.

At the moment I‘m not sure if I could reach my goal, as the other paid features of the app+ aren’t of interest to me.

Hello,

iGameGod is free and can be installed without paying.

Right under that message, it links you to the detailed topic where it shows you multiple ways of installing iGameGod. One of the ways is via Sideloadly, and it is free, but a PC is required.

So the way iGameGod Jailed works is that we need to inject it to the app so it overlays on top of the app. It is not possible to install it as a stand-alone app on Non-Jailbroken devices. The Decrypted App Store was also created to make the process easier.

I do not see any issues with the wording, but I am ready to listen if you have any improvements in mind. :)

Yes and no. First of all, it doesn‘t become clear how iGG works. It‘s still called sort of an app, but after injecting it into any other it‘s not an app anymore. Next, I would first have to have a decrypted IPA of that game I want to cheat, which isn‘t clear how to get. There is none on the internet, so I would have to have something on my iPad first to derive the decrypted IPA with.

You see the contradiction? The iOSGods app cannot do that. In the iOSGods app there is no action/menu that says like „Install iGameGod“. The only thing I see is the „Sign your own apps“, but that‘s not it. Conclusion: it only works with games you list in the app. The only way for me would now be to use the sideloader on Windows for which I need an IPA I don‘t have. So why do you call it „easy to install“?

Next problem: when picking any game in the app, just to try out if and how the app works, it tells you to uninstall the app store version. But this would kill any progress already made in the game. Dead end.

My hope was that iGG is a solution that bypasses the system restrictions because it already runs on a virtual jailbreak. i would even pay for a good solution, but it has to be clear, non-invasive to the game progress and of course 100% working. Still not sure what to do.

What I forgot: all solutions seem to be based on developer status and certificates which is of course not a permanent solution and annoying. The best way really seems to be to jailbreak the device, but that makes me think if it‘s worth it…

I don't think we've called iGameGod Jailed an app anywhere, perhaps the normal/Jailbreak iGameGod version, yes. Obtaining Decrypted IPAs is provided on the iGameGod Jailed topic; we've created a whole new service (Decrypted IPA Store) for this.

You are right about the iOSGods App not containing the iGameGod option in the Custom IPA Signing feature and we will look into implementing it there too. iOSGods App+ currently supports injecting iGameGod Jailed onto any decrypted IPA.

Uninstalling the App Store version is mandatory if you're not installing as duplicate. Game Center should kick in and keep your save/sync ready. Although, there are issues with Game Center if you're using a free Apple ID outlined here.

Unfortunately, this is how Non-Jailbroken iOS versions work, and there's no way around it without a Jailbreak as of now.
