Cant DIY hex edit.

game requires update at main menu with edited hex file >.<

Hex edit 6.1.0 -> 6.2.0 to work.

i am an idiot.

when filza ask to backup the files, i pressed yes and it didnt actually save what i edited.

re-edit the files and it works!

Yeah! How did u do that or better which line have u edit with the hex editor??? I can't find any line that shows me the app version

How to make old Hack work for 6.2.0
 
NOTE: Before you start make sure to backup your original file (copy & paste somewhere else)

1. Update Game
 
2. Start and close game (wait until you have loaded your normal screen where you can select islands) <-- It may work without this step.
 
3. Download old hack (do not download in the same folder as original file)
 
4. Rename old hack to BNGI0218
 
5. Open old hack with Hex Editor in iFile and search for 6.1.0 (there is only one line with 6.1.0 that needs to be edited) and rename it to 6.2.0
Touch the Done button in the bottom right corner and you will be asked to save changes. Click on "Yes"
 
6. Set permission to 777
 
7. Copy hack and overwrite original file
 
8. Start game and enjoy

omg.. i feels like a stupid idiot... I searched all the time "610" not "6.1.0" and under 610 are more lines as 1 ^^

With the points have found the one and only line to edit...
