Mine worked differently, I played the game with gems on (using this) and connected to fb. I waited for the app to update in this site but I got impatient. I downloaded the original app and reconnected it to fb which was originally created from this app. Surprisingly the gems still stayed and when I use gem options it would decrease. Dang, I'll prolly get banned tho.

You’ll have to use a different Apple account when re-installing with Sideloady. You’ll lose your progress, but the gems will appear again.
