PAD is keeping Data Update for me...

What IOS are you running? Try putting files in another folder instead of directly into the .bin folder works if I'm having issues.

I'm also a little confused about the use of this, under hack requirements it says it doesn't matter if jailbroken or not, but doesn't the phone need to be jailbroken just to have access of the var files in the first place or am I just missing something here?

Edit: Got the entire thing working, it really doesn't matter if jailbroken or not, all you need is the right tools to edit the files and it works wonders on my Iphone.

i'm having the same issue with my game. although i backed up my code, started a new game, and those bin files work just fine in the padbineditor, just not my main files. i am using android that has been rooted so i can get to the bin files, and copy them to my PC any suggestions?

Re-install padbineditor, delete bin.000 and try it. If that doesn't work try it with bin.000. I haven't used Android version of PAD for this program so I may not be of much assistance

The program I used was IBackUpBot where you can find pinned at the top of the section of "No Jailbreak Cheats" it helps with editing the bin files that you can find by backing up your current data to PC, changing it, then importing it back to your backup and restoring it to your device.

Also make sure that you backup your phone after every PAD maintenance and repeat process because it basically refreshes every edit on your bin file, this can also solve problems with a blank dropdown box in the bin editor.

Are you using IBackupBot? If so it should be under your backups category then User's Iphone/User App Files/PAD/Documents/>Bin Files here<

I was using ifunbox, but ill give this one a go.

So i got the BIN files using IBackupBot and changed the values using the padbineditor but the values in game stay the same. Any ideas on what im doing wrong?

Did you make sure the bin you edited was in the same folder of the Padbineditor, Import the same file you edited in replacement to the same file, click on that file you replaced afterwards in IBackupBot and click on Restore?

Yep I did all that except the restore, trying that now

That didnt work, now when I open PBE the drop down is blank no matter what I do.

I got PBE to work again.. Lots of reinstalling.. Now ibackupbot isnt picking up my ipad. Its like one issue gets solved and another 2 pop up lol

After lots of perseverance i finally got it to work!!

Will this work on a Non-Jailbroken device? I have done everything the same as I did on the jailbroken device but when I open the game it hasn't changed anything?
