First, I downloaded this hack back before the app updated to a new version. Prior to that, the hack worked wonderfully. After the update, the hack stopped working--I could still play, but it was as if there wasn't a hack. There was no crashing or "hack detected" issues, but there was no benefit either.

 

Second, I saw on page 110 that @Ianouar3G uploaded an updated .deb and binary files. The .deb download link worked, but the binary file download link leads to a downloading page with an error message (once you get past all of the ads). I then tried uploading the .deb file to my iFile (iPhone 6 jailbroken on ios 8.1.2) to see if it would work without the binary file, but iFile's installer said it couldn't open the .deb file (I tried installing from both the original zipped .deb download and the "data" folder (also zipped, extracted from the .deb zipped folder)). But, as the later comments say, the app's update may have killed Ianouar3G's hack update for ios 9 anyway.

 

I'm not a hacking expert by any measure (I'm definitely more of a novice), but I'm going to try a binary thinning that seems to be recommended on other threads on this Pokemon Shuffle topic using the tutorial from iOSGods (http://iosgods.com/topic/9598-tutorial-how-to-perform-a-binary-patch-how-to-thin-your-binary/). I'll update this post if that works, but I'm doubtful at this point.

 

Hopefully Ianouar3G is working on a new update. I tried a few other hacks both before and after the app update and all either didn't work or crashed the app, so Ianouar3G's was the best by far.

 

EDIT: I did a binary thinning and the hack still doesn't work. Ianouar3G probably just needs to update it to the current version of the app (1.2.0).
