I know many of you guys (like myself) probably have one if not a couple of unused, old and dusty iDevices. I have some good ways to put them to use again! Enjoy! Make sure to hit thanks!

1)

Sell it :). I know Apple release atleast one new device each year but apple devices maintain some value over the years. You certainly wont be making a profit however an iPod 2G is currently going for $50 dollars on Amazon! Go ahead, let someone else use something that you don't need! For a little cash :)

2)

A Camera! iPhone cameras are quite good compared to those cheap, chunky digital cameras you can pick up. iPhones have a crisp video and picture quality alongside a slim body which can fit comfortably in your pocket! Want to go SLR? Check this baby out: http://photojojo.com/store/

3)

Sound System w/dock! Docks come cheap these days and plopping your iDevice on it can make it a music center anywhere! Have a dedicated iDevice as a sound system instead of constantly swapping out you're current one :)

4)

Try Android (just a suggestion). If you have an iPod 1st gen, iPhone 2G/3G you can easily install an old version of android, you know, if you want something different...Here's a tutorial: http://www.funkyspacemonkey.com/bootlance-install-android-os-iphone-2g3g-computer

5)

Tweak Tester.  If you are a developer use an older device to beta test your tweaks/apps instead of loading your current device with the heavy theos and sdk files. If all goes well simply transfer over to you're new device. Incase something goes wrong you still have your new device at hand!

6)

As a backup phone. Some people can be clumsy and drop their phone into pieces but having a backup phone like a iPhone 3G can be brilliant, imagine yourself on holiday with a backup phone, you can easily make calls without you're main phone!

7)

A Scanner. Scan products to create a digital database of you're belongings!Brilliant!

8)

Remote Control. http://thinkflood.com/products/redeye-mini/#technical-specifications With this nifty accessory turn your phone/pod into a easy to use remote!

That's it! Hope you guys enjoyed! If you did then press thanks! Have any other ideas? Post em below!
Peace
