From my experience, it's always better to hook up every device to a single network if they're all using the same software platform. Otherwise, you're looking at a potential problem, and you'll need to find a way to reconcile multiple platforms via your primary controller's connector. When I installed a few Vivint wireless security cameras/doorbells, I encountered this problem. My old obsolete cameras refused to function within the new security network, so I had to replace them. Ultimately, I'm happy I did, but at the time, it was frustrating.sion of the Alfred Home Security Camera application.
