Help/Support Everytime my phone turns off (after startup) my homescreen is randomly scrambled

I use an LG Tribute Empire with Android 8.1.0, never attempted to root this phone. Everytime my phone turns off (no matter the reason) from dead battery to routine shutdowns, after i turn it back on and it starts up 3/4 of my app folders have vanished and all of the apps that were inside the missing folders have been randomly scattered across 3-4 homescreen pages (if all of these apps were adjacent with no blank spaces its only enough apps to fill up one and a half homescreen pages). Ive spent hours searching android troubleshooting forums and havent come across another person experiencing this problem. Thanks in advance to anyone that can provide me with any form of help or insight, this issue has been a royal pain in the butt!
