I have it set to the same option as you have..

ok. i have got Yosemite to work but how can i improve the performace? i tried 4 or 8 cores but still running very slow and disk usage always on 33% and won't go up. my HDD is new and fast.

What are your PC specs? Give it some more specifications and make sure you don't have a lot of things running on your computer which can use a lot of resources.

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (ASUS)

Other Hardware:

RAM: 24 GB

SSD: 111 GB, Windows 8.1

HDD 1: 4 TB | Part 1: 1.90 TB | Part 2: 1.73 TB (Yosemite VMware)

HDD 2: 1 TB

 

i don't have any apps running on my PC which reduce the perfomance. My PC can run 3 android emulators + 1 Ubuntu virtual machine at the same time. what is your virtual machine settings?

Can you try setting VMWare's priority to 'High' on task manager?

 

I also noticed lag on Yosemite when Mavericks worked like a charm!

i set VMWare's priority to 'High' on task manager but it still not helping. Yosemite laaaags a lot like an old PC running Windows XP. i think it's 128 MB VRAM problem but i can't activate 3D graphic acceleration because it is not supported by this guest.

My PC can run Yosemite and it's running fast becasue Yosemite support Nvidia but it always freeze after 5 minutes so that's why i need Mac OS X on a virtual machine.
