Help/Support I cant use save game hacks (Any game i try to hack with savegames crash after i tap on them)

Hello

 

I am using a jailbroken ipad 3 (ios 7.1) and basically when i change the documents folder of any game it crashes after i tap on it. i tried it with AC pirates first and it crashed, then i tried hacking trials frontier and it crashed again. I checked the comments and no one really had the problem i did. on AC pirates people did say their game crashed when they tapped play, but mine crashed before me even seeing the play button, it crashed on the loading screen. trials gave a black screen and crashed 2/3 seconds later. I hacked theese games before and it worked good. the hack worked, i never crashed, never had an error. but it started crashing 2 days ago. And not seeing other people have the same problem made me think that i had a problem and not the hack or the game. trials started working again after i changed the hacked save with the original save but AC kept crashing right after the loading screen.

 

I know thats not a lot of information but its all i have and i hope you guys can figure something out.

Delete app, download it again but don't open. Then put sav game hack in the application etc. then open

Try settings permissions to the hack files.

No AC still doesn work but i think thats the game ill mark this solved thanks

Try some other Save Game hacks also.

@DiDA Will do. And trials resets progress when i kill it from multitasking. Any ideas how to fix that (I changed the permissions and did what amuyea said) Should I play for sometime, change the permissions, and then replace the documents folder?

The progress reset means that the permissions are badly set and the app can't write to the files the changes in the game.

@DiDA So should I try combinations that make sense until i get it right or is there one that works usually

Try setting the:

 

Owner: Mobile

Group: Mobile
