hello,

when I change the value of the game's jetpack (Subway Surfer), everything works fine and i have 9999 jetpacks.

on an other games (eg: Godus) some value can be changed (eg: the liver, and this value stay even if i close/re open the game). diamonds also displayed as infinity. but when I raise the game, and re open it,  the  « basic » value comes back. it is the same if i use the « lock » fonctions in GG.

So I wonder why this doesn't work for diamonds (if it's encrypted or whatever)

And if there is some way of "freezing" the value. (other than the « lock » fonction)

thanks for answers !

Every game is different and every developer uses a different method to encrypt or hide the values . A trial and error method would be best . Locking the value doesn’t always work either. A permanent method would be to find the offset in IDA and modify that way , but that would take some experience in modding binary files.

thanks for your reply, i started reading and practicing iosgods tutorials, but each case is different and i can't find the same functions at all (eg for diamonds i was hoping to find a SUB function and modify it with ADD function but this is not the case for the godus games
