Help/Support How can i add a .deb package to my Duplicated app?

Hey guys,

I have an application called InstaLikes, i got the hack for it and its working pretty fine.

The thing is, I duplicated this application but i don't know how to add the hack to the duplicate.

I tried to go to "Raw File System -> Library -> MobileSubstrate -> DynamicLibraries" but i didn't find new .dylib neither .plist which means the hack isn't installed on new duplicate. Or am i missing something ?

Clear it for me and tell me what should i do.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for making a proper support topic.

A deb file is usually made for a specific Bundle ID/App and you can't have the same Bundle ID's on one device so you should find out the duplicated app's bundle ID (located inside the info.plist) and then go to "Raw File System -> Library -> MobileSubstrate -> DynamicLibraries", find the debs plist file and edit it using iFile's text editor any other editor. Then replace the bundle ID with the duplicated apps bundle ID.

I found two "InstaLikes.app" in the duplicated application. As you can see in the screenshot below (Its from LightShot)

And since there's two .app i found two .plist in which i can't find the ID in both of them.

Open that Info.plist with a text editing app and you should see 'BundleID' somewhere in there.

There's also a better way to do it.

Edit the hack's plist and add 2 bundle ID's:

      <string>xxx.xxx.BUNDLEID1</string>
      <string>xxx.xxx.BUNDLEID2</string>
    </array>
  </dict>
</dict>
</plist>

That should affect both apps.
