-Downloaded the .deb

-Got both files in iFile using Web Server

-Copied the bravefrontier1341clean file and pasted in /var/mobile/Containers/Bundle/Application/BraveFrontier/BraveFrontier.app
-Renamed the original BraveFrontier to BraveFrontierCLEAN
-Renamed the hacked binary to BraveFrontier
-Changed permissions to 777 on the hacked binary
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Installed the .deb
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Rebooted the iPad

Error:
It gives me a blackscreen when I launch the app. It does however run for a while before crashing (gives a blackscreen for a good 5sec before crashing).

EDIT:
Fix has been found!
What you need to do is go to the hacked binary that is pasted in BraveFrontier.app and change owner and Group to mobile!! (You find this when you press this: ) scroll down a bit and it should be there!

Copy the original BraveFrontier binary file to BraveFrontier.app instead of leaving both of them inside. I think these two will conflict with each other if they are present within the same binaries. That's just my opinion though. I always delete or copy the original binary somewhere else and place the cracked binary where the original one was. Try do that instead of having BraveFrontier AND BraveFrontierCLEAN.

Sadly it had no effect on my problem

I could try to upload some pictures of my process. Maybe then you can see what I did that was wrong?

I do believe skype would be easier thought. Once you find the problem there can be a post so that so others wont run into the same problem?

the only thing i didn't see you mention in this fantastically detailed list is checking the file's Owner & Group.

while you're changing the permissions to 777, you also need to make sure that BOTH Owner and Group are set to "mobile."

i personally use iExplorer to copy the files onto the phone, and every time it keeps Group as "mobile," but changes Owner to "root."

if i forget to change this back, the app crashes.

it is, and i'm using it, and it's amazing, but my thought is that if we're still using the 1.3.4.1 binary,

then we are still experiencing all the crashes and glitches they supposedly fixed in the update, as we are not using the updated version.

i wonder if the new binary can be cracked and thinned and still work with the current .deb, or if that would mean starting from scratch?

i'm thrilled at all the hard work that has gone into this, and am certainly not complaining as we can still use it,

but can't help but wonder if the topic is going to continue to be plagued with pages upon pages of "ZOMFG teh crash1ng iz soooo bad alwayzzz fixfixfix" etc... ;p
