iPieta Español is a SPANISH Catholic Reference and Devotional. The similar but not identical App in English is iPieta.
CONTENT:
iPieta Español is a Catholic reference program for the iPhone (or iPod Touch) that contains:
• La Biblia de Jerusalén and La Vulgata Latina
• The Catechism of Christian Doctrine, the Roman Catechism, the Catechism of the Summa, and the Catecismo Basico.
• Both the Ordinary (Novus Ordo) and Extraordinary (Tridentine) Calendars with access to the day's Gospel and Reading(s) from the Nácar-Colunga & Vulgate Bibles
• Numerous prayers, and devotions including the 33-Day Total Consecration Preparation, Novenas to the Holy Spirit and to the Divine Mercy, St. Alphonsus Stations of the Cross, and the St. Bridget 1-Year and 12-Year Prayers, and more.
• Spiritual writings by St. Louis Marie de Montfort, St. Teresa of Jesus, St. John of the Cross, the Summa Theologica by St. Thomas Aquinas, the Imitation of Christ, Introduction to Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales, and the Treatise on Purgatory by St. Catherine of Genoa.
• Examination of Conscience

FEATURES:
• Perform Boolean AND/OR searches on the Bible, catechisms, and spiritual works including the Summa.
• The Bible as well as many of the prayers can be displayed either in English, Latin, or in both English & Latin.
• The Calendar is displayed in a table and formatted to correspond to the liturgical season (e.g., Advent, Christmas, etc.) and feast day. Touch a day's entry to access the Gospel and readings (but not the responsorial psalm). Note that the days of obligation (Epiphany, Corpus Christi, etc.) follow the Universal Calendar and not the national calendars. “Shake” device to toggle between the Novus Ordo and Traditional Calendars.
• Text is displayed in a modified web view where swipes and taps originating in the left one-fourth of the screen facilitate font-size changes, new files, and instant scrolling which is especially useful reading large files.
• Customize text and background colors and test size and fonts.
• iPieta Español “remembers” last table / text on start-up; each table “remembers” the last selected row.
• Email current text (prayers, bible passage, or spiritual writing) directly from iPieta Español.

IMPORTANT:
• See the Help Tab for instructions on Navigation, and Email.
• The Calendars are complex; emails regarding problems are appreciated.

We are grateful for your suggestions and direct emails ([email protected]) which we take seriously as we work towards improving iPieta Español.

Note:
• Go to www.es.ipieta.com for details on the calendar, navigation, search, display and more.
• iPieta Español does NOT require internet connection.
• Help and Settings are found in the “Settings” tab.
