I’m glade you understand the trick because it has many steps and some people didn’t understand it

What is the step you are not understanding the idea of the hack is that every time you level up you get gems and gold as rewards so you will need to search your levels value and the max xp to all your level because each level have his own max xp value and change them to 1 and freeze your level value to 1
