I was wondering if there was a tweak for a five icon dock compatible with ios 8.3.

I'm not really sure. I only used Springtomize for speeding animations, five icons in the dock, changing carrier text and a few more!

Have you tried InfiniDock also?

 

It's quite like 5 icon dock but infinite.
