  1. The tutorial is at https://github.com/qnblackcat/How-to-Downgrade-apps-on-AppStore-with-iTunes-and-Charles-Proxy. The good news is that this tutorial does exactly what I was trying to do with the old versions function of armconverter. Thanks for the tip! That's exactly what I've been asking about trying to do. The one caveat is that that GitHub page linked to a version of iTunes that didn't work out, so I followed the instructions on Apple's website to get iTunes 12.6.5.3. The guides uses Charles 4.2.7, but the latest version (4.6.3) worked for me in my case. This of course just gets you bare downloads through iTunes without decryption, cheats, or anything, but it will at least let you install older versions of any apps you can find on the Apple store. The bad news is that while I got what I was looking for, the Charles program is a 30-day trial with some annoying popups before a $50 purchase price. So that's $17 plus $50 I'd have spent on this venture if I want to continue past that. 😆 But eh. I got what I was looking for with the help of this website, with or without the help of a VIP subscription.
  2. Oh no worries, I've been patient and waiting (just see my topic and when my last response to it was). I've just been waiting around, following the news (including here) to see if there's been any update. I was also mainly replying to let the topic creator know that there are others experiencing this issue, as well, and letting ScottieC111 (and others) know the details of what others are experiencing (and that they're not alone/the only ones). Thanks for the follow up (and offer).
  3. Scottie, it seems we're in the same boat. I posted a topic on this same subject a little over a week before this topic. I got (and get) the same series of errors. Looking at the older versions of various apps, I highly doubt old version downloads ever worked for anyone since I can't find any downloads for any app older than about 1/4 down the slider. Also like you, I bought VIP specifically for this one thing, and one thing only. A bulletin or notification that the function was inoperable at the time would have been nice. I could have then saved my sub for later, since I've got a little over a month in my sub left, I haven't been able to use it yet (I have iOS 9.3.5, so recent downloads are next to useless), and it's starting to look like it might go up in flames before this gets resolved. 😞 There's also been a more recent topic, and while that one mentioned a 500 error which occasionally happens to all downloads (including the most recent ones), it especially calls out downloads of older versions.
  4. Screenshot provided. It's basically just the text described above. As mentioned, "Error 500" isn't among the errors. The two errors I get, specifically, are "Something went wrong :-(", and "Decrypt this Version (likely will fail!)". I've tried several days, and the errors are the same. The apps I get the errors with are all of them. Web browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome), video players (YouTube), social media, doesn't matter. No issues decrypting the latest version of any app, it's just going down to previous versions where the issue happens. It doesn't appear to just be me getting the error. I see the same red icons on several apps I didn't try to decrypt. For example, look up Instagram or Genshin Impact. I've never tried to decrypt them, but I can see the red icons showing others tried (and failed) to decrypt them.
  5. When using the Decrypted App Store, whenever I try to download an older version of an iOS app, I get the error message, "Something went wrong :-(". When looking back error, the option says, "Decrypt this Version (likely will fail!)". It doesn't matter if it's a really old version of a popular app, or a recent older version--even one sandwiched between two versions that have already been successfully decrypted in the past. After searching around, this topic is the only reference I could find. While that suggests a temporary issue that was fixed, it's months later and apparently it's happening again. The biggest clue I can find is that it did allow me to download the most recent version of a particular app. It's the older versions (even only three or four releases down from most recent) that always fail. Is there something I can do to help fix this, besides wait? Or is that just it? Is this a known issue that's being worked on? That topic was in August, which from then to now is a longer timespan than my current VIP subscription length. 😬 Thanks so far!
  6. The solution was to contact the card's company and tell them to let the payment through for this particular company. Thanks again!
  7. Thank you for your prompt and speedy replies. I will try the mobile device route next time once everything clears up. If it works, it works. I may be able to try sooner. As below... You're correct, and it looks as though I owe an apology. I looked deeper into the charges. It's a very wacky coincidence. On the card I made two charge attempts, I got two charges for a separate service I was subscribed to within the same hour I tried to purchase here. And the price was within the ballpark. It was a very bizarre aligning of the stars that made it very much look like this website billed me. The number of charges, the timing of them, and their price was all near alike. Again, sorry.
  8. Hello. It's me again. After getting an email response (due to some unexplained issue, I could neither buy subscriptions, nor update my profile, nor even post in the message board--I tried chat, but I think that just led to dismissal as someone that 'couldn't figure the site out'), I was able to finally update my profile and add VIP to my cart. There was probably a block of some kind on my account. Thank you for fixing that. However, upon trying to actually buy, I experienced... more issues. Specifically, after trying with a card, I got bounced with a message saying that there was a payment issue. I tried with a different card, and got the same message. I then also noticed that it said that it said that I would get a refund in "two days". One card for sure has enough money, so that isn't the issue. At https://iosgods.com/store/category/1-vip-subscriptions/ it says, "Some ViP payments will need to be manually approved." Is this the issue here? It also suggested trying a mobile device, but I don't feel like doing that until the outstanding charges on my card are cleared. Also, there is another more serious issue. I was trying to buy the 2-month $16.99 subscription. However, when I checked my card history, I noticed two charges for $17.99. That was definitely not in the payment summary. If there was an online tax involved, I sure would have appreciated knowing because I don't like surprises like that all that much. A $1.00 even tax on a $16.99 item also seems odd--seems more like a pricing discrepancy between the advertisement and what is actually billed. Is this normal?
