Update for those that still have this problem now! Just stay in game and let your character die of starvation or anything. You’ll respawn like normal. Only way to get rid of being stuck holding the generator is to place it on your motorcycle. Same thing for the blue crate at the farm.

im going through the same problem

Game crashes when I try to restore my saved game (update 1.7.3) the ad that plays just glitches and force shuts the app.
