Greetings Alyssa, I wanted to reach out about a couple of apps whenever you have the time, but before I even get into that, I wanted to say something first. I know you probably get more update requests than you can count, and I can imagine how exhausting it gets when people start treating an update like something they’re owed instead of remembering there’s an actual person behind all of this work.

I don’t want to be another person showing up just to complain that something hasn’t been updated yet. I genuinely appreciate what you do for this community and the amount of time you’ve already put into keeping these apps alive, working, and available for people who otherwise wouldn’t have them. If something takes time, it takes time. If something isn’t possible anymore, I understand that too. I’d rather support the work you’re able to do than make you feel pressured over something you’re doing for everybody else.

I do have a couple of apps I wanted to ask you about whenever you get a chance, but there’s absolutely no rush from me. I mainly wanted you to know that your work is appreciated, Alyssa. I know people can be loud when they want something fixed, but the people who are grateful don’t always speak nearly as loudly. I wanted to be one of the ones who actually says thank you.
