You can not place the Radio tower on the ground as there is no multiplayer, Clans or chat yet in game, this is what the radio tower is for.

 

I'm level 53. I can already create the radio tower but I do not place it on the ground. I get a white square when I try. Is the problem the mod or is it just my problem?
