Help/Support Updating Games - developer update

I have a game called C.A.T.S crash arena turbo stars and well I’ve installed it and enter the game it says it requires an update so I go to the App Store to install the update and nothing happens probably because it’s an iOS gods app. I was wondering if there was a work around for this or do I need to wait for the developer to update the hack
